When I first introduce this new friend to BoBo, she had no idea what this funny thing is and did not dare to step on it. After living with it for a few days, she started to get curious and tried to make some little touch and smell on it. I caught a chance, gave her a push, hold her body onto the bed and made her realize that it is actually a comfy piece to sleep. I am glad to see that she seems enjoying her new company now.

這是個很讓人感動和思考的故事。一次以生命影響生命的完美演繹。一個很特別的小男孩，不喜歡讀書識字，卻擁有無限的想像力。簡單一點說，是一個患有dyslexia的孩子。在老師和同學眼中，他是一個壞學生；父母也不去了解他，反而强迫他去成為別人眼中的好孩子，把他一切的不一致連同那活潑的幻想世界也一拼給打壓下來。看着那孩子漸漸地失去光釆和生命力，好不叫人婉惜。直到他很幸運地遇到了一位願意去懂他的老師把他從黑暗無助中拉出來，用心地用他能理解的方式去教導他，不但發展了他的真正所長，也把他的笑容從新找回來。看到他倆最後的作品，心都要跟着溶化了。

電影裏伴隋着小主角出場的音樂，讓我想起 Forest Gump 的 theme song。同様簡單舒服的數個音符，包含着一片豐富得即使你使勁伸開雙手也不足以擁入懷中的撩闊世界，但你卻能感受得到那當中無比的美好。那組音樂曾在電影的中段一道的消失了，及至小男孩願意再一次活出自己時才又輕輕的跑回來，一個很貼心的安排。

包容、接納、了解和欣賞是對待小朋友不可決少的。其實，對成年人亦然。

喜歡這首歌已經一連子了，再聴還是感動。讓我“懷念”起bobo來，還有公公婆婆，爺爺奶奶，和很多很多的人。他們有些已淡出了我的生命，也有仍留在身邊的。雖然終須要分開，慶幸我們都累積了很多幕以微笑作靜止的定格。懂得這份“懷念”才會更加珍惜，這可能是神要給我們的功課，於是祂賜下了分離；也可能是對人類當初沒有好好珍惜和神一起的日子的懲罰，結果我們與神分開，必須以這種方式從新上學。

MV 也拍得好，那只狗狗上車時讓我鼻酸了一下。當bobo真的要乘車離開的時候，她也會為我點播這首歌嗎？

Mandy has accepted Christ as her personal Saviour today!!! She is a friend whom I have known for ages; A friend whom I care, I love, and I anxious so much. Having each other stood tightly by the side, we have holding hands gone through countless ups & downs in our life journeys. When she finally believes in Christ and said thank you to me with a big hug, I barely couldn't hold my tears. Not because of the "thank you" she said to me, but for the truthful happiness revealed on her beautiful smile.

- At one point, the president saw several children wandering aimlessly.
"Oh, my God, who do these little children belong to?" he asked.

- EARTHQUAKE VICTIM (Spanish): I need to think about rebuilding so that my son can live here. I know it is too soon, but someday I will die and my children will live on.

Little Maria lives in Ica, a Peruvian city hard-hit by the massive 8.0 magnitude earthquake. 6 days have passed after the temblor and I still can't get a hold with maria and her family. It is a global warming post again! haha but we always need reminder doesn't it?! From the time when we recognized the problem of global warming, how much have we changed our living habits? I doubt myself too. Maybe we really love ourselves much more than the earth. If the Arctic is melting at a x2 faster rate, that means we have to put x4 efforts to stop it. Or we have to wait till the melting water rush into our house, we will finally realize our foolishness?

The scientists, the global warming reports, even the weather itself have warned us times by times, but we are still.....why gei lei?

haha it is just like how we ignore God's words. We have already been told what to do, what not to do, and also the consequences, but we are still.....why gei lei?

Last night 同 BoBo 出去玩, 佢玩得好開心. We ran around, we had snowball fight, we laughed, we hugged each other.... While she was still having fun with the snow, I lay down for a rest. Looked upon the stars, they are so beautiful. One of them deeply caught my eyes. I should like to pluck it from the heaven, hold it and take care of it on my hands ... anyone can do me that kindness, order it to set?

The night was so beautiful, calm and free. I wish I could stay there forever. However, the cruelty coldness didn't allow me to do so.

There are so many emotions, meanings, and thoughts embraced in this simple gesture. When you are happy, when you are sad, when you are frustrated, when you are angry...a sincerely hug from your friends or love ones will definitely be better than a thousand words. And it is always a magic way to break down walls between people in different races, cultures, age groups...Hugs can take one's soul, doesn't it?

Saving Private MyRoom Project

Spent a whole weekend on the cleanup and been so elated to gain some ground in time. Now there is only "a little bit" stuffs left in a corner. On the past Saturday I had a little retreat with God and my piano. It is always the best way for me to get rid of all the stresses and solely focus on God. 新的眼睛

生物學告訴我們，人的大腦神經通常對新事物特別敏感。這是為甚麼日復一日的「正常」生活會使人覺得枯燥、無趣，從而想尋求變化，尋求刺激。前段時間，我沒有去尋求變化，刺激卻來找到了我。我的牙醫犯臭，弄錯了我的牙齒，令我痛苦不堪，白受了很多罪，白花了很多錢，白白浪費了很多時間。

那段時間，我很深刻地認識到「正常」是多麼大的恩典。這改變了我不少看待日常生活的眼光，於是有了一個奇妙的發現：當我們改變了看待事物的眼光，我們所看待的事物就有了很大的不同。比如，能睡一個好覺，不再只是一個理所當然；因而不以為然的事，我會滿心的感恩，以至於這一天一開始就顯得很清新。能吞咽所喜歡的食物，也不只是短暫的口快，似乎食物的滋味、嚼勁可以化做心中的感激和喜悅。我甚至注意到門口的小草姿態非常的美，那棵樹上的一根枯枝，也有一種滄桑中的優雅 ... ... 總之，我的心靈和感覺器官似乎被強化了，能夠感受到以前因司空見慣從來看不到、感受不到的東西，對神創造的奇妙、設計中的恩惠、托持萬有的大能也有了能「看」的眼睛，感覺真是「我躺下，我睡覺，我醒來，都因耶和華在扶持著我」。

原來「新」事物就在我們眼前的舊事物中，都在耶和華的恩惠中。願神保守我們持續擁有這樣的「新眼睛」，總能看到生活中美好的「新事物」。 ─ 李文屏

神常將我們帶到絕境，遇見極大的危機，看來無法過去，如同以色列人來到一個地步，前有紅海、後有追兵，似乎只有等死。然而神的意思並非如此，人的盡頭是神的起頭；人的無路是神的出路，所有的危機，都是一個轉機，最大的危機是最大的轉機，沒有危機就沒有轉機。在我們屬靈的路上所遇到的危機，是神給的機會，叫我們在那裡遇見神，因為沒有神插手在其中，危機就無法過去。

逃避危機的人，一帆風順的人，似乎很得意，然而也失去最大的祝福，看不到神極大的榮耀，危機使自己無能為力，從別人也得不到幫助，只能倚靠神。我們有一位全能的神，祂樂意拯救我們，祂願意為祂自己作見證，顯明祂是信實和榮耀的神。祂願意祂的子民進一步認識祂、倚靠祂、順服祂。所以在遇上危機、困難、當走到絕路的時候，正正是我們要看見神大能和榮耀的時候，不要懼怕，只管站住，仰望為我們信心創始成終的主。

父啊，從前我們風聞有你，現終親眼看見你了。

Took a day off and made a trip with BoBo on the last special friday. We chose Main St. becoz it is a very nice place and also there is a trail for BoBo to run around. Just make a magic right turn on Hwy 7 and then you will get into a different world! The clock stop moving and all the troubles & worries fly away.

"Closer", I wanna watch it for a long time, but didn't have a chance until now. It shows a typical love cycle: encounter, fall in love, romance, 熱戀期退去, 猜忌, 質疑, 揣測, betrayal, betrayal betrayal, hurt the one who love you, being hurt by the one who you love, disappointed, 分手. Then, the same cycle start again...but you are changed, not the same anymore. What is love? What is trust?

I fell in love with the story, with Natalie Portman (she acted so good!), and with the fascinating theme song! ( Damien Rice's The Blower's Daughter) You can hear the song in the beginning of the movie, when Natalie Portman met her stranger Jude Law on a busy street in London. That scene really captured my mind. The music appears again at the end of the story, the same person walking on the street. 但風境已經不同, 一切已經改變.

A movie worths to see! and try to feel it! Feel their lives, their pain, and their broken hearts.

Don't know why I am always afraid of being drown. Being locked in a sinking car is even more terrible! Here are some tips when your car goes underwater:

You don't have to drive off a bridge to experience the terror of sinking underwater in a car. Flash floods can be just as deadly — a car could start floating away in only 2 feet of water. Either way, once the water starts pouring into your vehicle, you need to keep your cool while acting quickly.

First, unfasten your seat belt. That may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised at the number of drowning victims who never unbuckled themselves. Then, before the electricity shorts out, roll down the windows. That's right, roll down the windows.

This may seem a suicidal act as you sit in a sinking car. But the point is to equalize the water pressure inside and outside the vehicle. If your sinking car stays full of air, there's no way you'll be able to open the door.

If you still can't get the door open and windows won't roll down, find a heavy object, say a flashlight, and break the glass. Don't try to kick out the windshield; you'll never be able to do it. Smash a side window — it breaks more easily if you hit an edge or corner — and swim out through it and head to the surface.

Don't waste time trying to gather up valuable possessions. The laptop, the purse, the DVDs ... their time has come. Yours hasn't, if you use your head.

Been living in Toronto for 10 years. I have never 認認真真地 finish a NBA season. I think it is time to get into the culture.

Season opening of Raptors - 102-92 loss to the New Jersey Nets, 39.4% from the field, and 4-for-20 from three-point range. Hmm.... hope Raps will show us some more enjoyable games later...

Compare to the game last night, I am much more attracted to the friendships in the team - The Texans Chris Bosh & T.J. Ford, and the Spaniards Jose Calderon & Jorge Garbajosa.

Imagine those people who never cross their paths in their own countries, run around the world and being each other's support in Toronto. Just like us, God must has a purpose to put us together as a group, as a team, as a fellowship here. How amaze is it.

Nine Below?

Aello I am BoBo ar! Elinor always use my blog to write her own stuffs. But it is ok and I think you guys will be smart enough to distinguish us right? haha...Elinor brought me out and play in the park this afternoon. It was freezing and the park was all covered by icy snow. Elinor wore like an Antarctica explorer walking on the icy continent. I imagined that I was one of the sled dogs in the movie Eight Below and run all over the ice. Too bad Elinor didn't fall down or encountered any danger, if not I could act as a super dog hero and save her life. Do you think I could be casting as a new Hollywood star in the "Eight Below II - Nine Below"?

The Mont Tremblant trip was fun. This is my first time snowboarding. I was really scare about it b4, but surprisingly I found out that it is a quite interesting sport. I think I will go snowboarding again with my "bunny hill buddies" later.

Another thing that surprised me in the trip is the abnormal warm weather! It is only the beginning of February and I expected that it would be minus XXX degree on the Mountian and I would be freezed to dead at the end of the day! However, it turned out to be a warm day and it was even raining at the 2nd day of the trip.

Learnt from the WWF Canada that Canada's Arctic is warming faster than anywhere else on the planet. Certain regions have already experienced temperature increases of as much as 3 to 4° C in the past 50 years. Nearly one million square kilometres of sea ice have already disappeared, posing serious implications for seals, polar bears and entire Arctic communities. For instance, lots of Polar bears are drawning because they have to swim nearly 100km in search of food because the ice melted so much earlier in these years. Scientists have revealed that Polar bears could be extinct within the next 100 years as their habitat virtually disappears. Saveourclimate.ca is now raising fund through the Share Our Sky campaign. It is a good opportunity for us to do something to save our planet.

Besides, there are lots of things that we can do to reduce global warming. For example, try to minimize the use of washing machine, drying machine, dish washer, and oven. They are all high energy consumed domestic products. We could also turn our computer off overnight, turn off computer screens when you take a break, replace the lights you use most with compact fluorescent lights....blahblahblah...etc.

Jesus once said that there will be more frequenced and more serious disasters occured while the world is going to the end. It is so unbelievable that they are all caused by our sins. Humans are having a huge impact on the world's climate, and the climate change causes ice caps melt, sea levels rise, ocean currents disrupted, droughts dried, more frequent floods and hurricanes, wider spread of tropical diseases, food shortages, and many other climate change impacts.

Oh Lord, we are all deeply sinned. You created us a wonderful world but we keep destroying it. Lord, we can see that you are coming back soon. Please help us to feel the urgency of protecting our own planet, and also the urgency of spreading your gospel!

I took these photos last Sunday before the children worship. They were so cute in the chinese new year costume! and when I was helping a kid to wash her hands after peepee, 我閃到腰了! I am still suffering the pain now. This is my first "work injury"! haha... and I can see two signs in this incident: 1. I am lack of excerise; 2. I am getting old... sign~ I think I needa perform some stretching exercise before I walk into the children department from now on. Hope that I won't get a more serious injury in the coming ski trip. What I am really looking forward is -- the Mont Tremblant Spa! Yeah!

Looking back to 2005, 只覺得這一年過得出奇地快. 去年比較花得多精神&時間的 should be serving in outreach. I always think that I didnt' do a good job in that, and found out that I am not very good to be a leader. I think I am so used to do everything by myself. Maybe that's why I chose to be a BSL instead of CGL this year. But thx. God that I have learnt to "care" the "new comer" more, and be more aware of other b/s's feeling & needs. Also I have built up friendships with some amazing b/s in 2005. I wish I can spend more time with them and develop a more indepth relationship with them in this year. Team up, and build connections to others will be one of my 2006 goal!

Serving in the children ministry is still the biggest challange for me. It is easy to just do the crafts, play the games, and then finish the class. But I don't wanna end like this. The hardest part is how to pass the message to the kids through all the activities and teach them to walk in God's path. I know that it is very important to the children and I can't just 隨便了事. I even thought that I am not suitable in this ministry and wanna quit. However, God shows me the need of this ministry in the spring camp 2005. Although I still dont' have a super strong vision in this ministry, I will put everything in God's hand and hope HE will help me grow in it.

Besides church, I really enjoy serving in the ACM Choir. I have to say sorry to God that my first intention to join this ministry is not 100% good and pure. However, everything are in God's eyes and HE has completely ruined my plan. Thx. Lord to let me learn the lesson and move on. Now I found that I love music, I love GOD, and I love spreading gospel to others. I am so glad that I can do them all at the same time in ACM. Lord, please help us to make a wonderful retreat and may all of ACM members become a refresh christian after it.The other two things that bother me the most in 2005 are spread gospel to my parents and decide whether I should stay in canada or go back to HK for good. They both are tough but both are in my top to-do list 2006. Lord, I will try my best and leave the rest on your hands. Please please help me.

N also...I wanna read more bible and read more good books ....play more with bobo....make more good friends....park more tor....go more places....go some camping....try more new things.....blah blah blah....Wow what a wonderful 2006!

Yeah Elinor is back from Punta Cana! It was a fun & relaxing trip! And most of all, elinor started learning how to swim! So amazing! Thx. so much for her swimming instructor!
They did many different activities during the trip: snockeling, ATV, horse riding, swimming with Sharks...etc. And of course they slept a lot on the beach & poolside and ate a lot of food in different restauants!
The weather down there was good too! There was sunshine but not too hot, shower but wont' last long, a bit windy in the first few days but not cold and so elinor didnt' need to do water sports before she learnt swimming.
There was another interesting thing happened in the trip - there was a "micky mouse" in the guys' room!!! Bun described that the mouse was rising up from the gabbage bin, jumping down from the curtain, and running around his shoes! So horrible.
The ppl working there are very nice too. They always carry a big smile, they will sing when they serve you, and they will start dancing when they hear music! We need to work hard for a whole year, carry lots of stress, save lots of money,辛辛苦苦地才能換得 one week vacation there. But the ppl there are just singing, dancing, living in such a beautiful place everyday! Wow 神的供應真是充充足足的！ However, if you ask me to give up everything and settle my rest of life there. I absolutely will say NO. Oh life is so 矛盾！
Anyways, the five ppl had spent a great time together, and they hv taken tons of photos! I will show you some after Elinor downloaded them onto the computer.

March of the Penguins

Elinor and her friends decided to postpone their trip to Mexico. It is good because I don't need to be alone this week. (^^) Elinor was not very sad because she had spent some good time with her friends instead. She also watched an excellent movie on Sunday. Actually it is a documentary of the legend of emperor penguins. It is so amazing that there are some little penguins fighting for their lifes on a place where no other creature ventures, the coldest, windiest, driest and darkest continent on the planet. After watching this film, I think it is not too bad to live in Canada. And, thx God for giving us parents!

為了孕育下一代，牠們準備好了，準備好犧牲一切，踏上艱苦的旅程
二月。
南極洲夏日將盡，海面平靜無波。皇帝企鵝以其優雅的泳姿在湛藍海洋中向海面的蛋白色燦光游去。這裡是牠們的國度，海裡有豐富的魚跟烏賊可食，他們自在的悠遊著。

三月。
灰色黏稠的海面上，一隻隻像是魚雷的企鵝在浮冰間探出頭來，牠們一一登陸在覆蓋著整個南極的皚皚白雪上，世界上最艱困的旅程正在前方等著…

風雪侵襲，海水正開始結冰，團結的企鵝為了不迷路，牠們一隻緊跟著一隻，緩慢的、安靜的向前邁進，在雪地裡形成了一列綿延的縱隊。牠們要到哪裡去？那將是個沒有任何其他生物可以存活的絕境，但牠們沒有選擇，牠們需要幾週的時間戀愛、交配，還要好幾個月的時間孕育下一代，才三個月的短暫夏季根本不夠啊。所以牠們得離開，離開那個正結冰的可愛王國，為了肩負孕育的使命，往嚴酷的深雪冰寒勇敢的前進。

四月。
在南十字星的指引下，在冰天雪地跋涉了十數公里的企鵝終於到了目的地。在這裡，企鵝們將詠唱著愛之歌，相戀、孕育。聽！一隻企鵝率先打破沈默，用牠清亮的鳴聲劃破冬日長空。聽！另一隻企鵝也用牠的高亢鳴聲熱情回應！漸漸的，一組組愛的合聲在空氣中散開飛舞著…

五月。
在冰雪中沒有任何的食物可食用的情況下，體重只剩下原來三分之一的企鵝媽媽生下了獨一無二的企鵝蛋。然而牠們可不能沈溺在新生的喜悅中，更艱難的挑戰緊隨而至。考驗一：企鵝媽媽要先毫髮無傷的將極為脆弱的蛋交給企鵝爸爸。然後對彼此更艱鉅的考驗開始：企鵝媽媽要在四十天沒有進食的情況下，在冰雪中橫越兩百公里，到海洋捕捉給小企鵝的食物。然而一路上有海豹的攻擊與冰上的伏流，有些企鵝媽媽累倒了，永遠無法完成牠的旅程…

而企鵝爸爸在企鵝媽媽不在的六十天裡繼續孵蛋。太陽一天只出現兩小時，氣溫是零下負四十度，時速兩百五十公里的狂風刮著，企鵝爸爸沒有任何食物可以吃，還得賣力的維持站姿平穩。因為雙腳間的小生命，很可能因為猛烈的狂風與不穩的浮冰一轉眼就受凍而死?

七月中。
終於，小企鵝誕生了，但是一張開眼迎接牠們的卻是殘酷無情的冰雪世界。小企鵝孵出後48小時是關鍵時間，全靠企鵝爸爸的儲糧才能維持生命。如果企鵝媽媽沒有及時趕到的話，牠們將與這個未知的世界永別。

企鵝媽媽終於帶著三到四公斤的食物回來，但一家人團聚的時間並不長。企鵝媽媽與企鵝爸爸角色互換，企鵝媽媽留下來餵養小孩，企鵝爸爸卻得再次出發回到海洋覓食。又餓又累，牠們踏上與企鵝媽媽相同的旅程，面臨相同的威脅。當然，有些企鵝爸爸再也不會回來…

小企鵝也面臨生死存亡的威脅。除了漫天冰雪，還有喜愛生吞活剝小企鵝的飛燕虎視眈眈的盤旋不去，準備擒捉落單的小企鵝大快朵頤。

然後不知不覺中，二月再度到來，一切都再重來。就這樣，千萬年來，每年冬天，皇帝企鵝不斷重複的在南極冰雪深處寫著屬於牠們的血淚奮鬥史，那是個充滿勇氣、冒險、生存與愛的傳說...

Hurrican Wilma

Oh Hurrican Wilm a is roaring toward Cancun! The storm was on a curving course that would carry it through the narrow channel between Cuba and Mexico on Friday, possibly within a few miles of Cancun and Cozumel.
The storm will get away from Cancun on Saturday or Sunday. Elinor & friends may need to postpone their trip. However, please pray for her fellowship counsellor Astor & her friends. They are taking their vacation in Cancun now. May God bless them all!

"Wilma was the 21st tropical storm to form in the Atlantic this year, exhausting this year's list of names, and any additional storms this year would be named after Greek letters, starting with Alpha. The 21 storms tie the 1933 record for the busiest season since hurricane counting started in 1851. But the hurricane season continues for an additional six weeks, ending Nov. 30."

There are tons of 天災人禍 happened in these few years. 唔通 Jesus 就黎返黎? I will pray hard for elinor's family and all other non-believers. Time is rush so we needa work hard for God!

Elinor is going to Mexico Cancun next week with her friends. Here are the gangs: Anna, Elinor, Ivy, Simon, Rubun.

They are leaving at 6am this coming saturday and they will stay in the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort for seven days. Elinor doesn't know how to swim! I dunno how she can survive! Anyways, it is great to take a break in a "sun & beach" place. She is already in a vacation mood now! Pls pray for the weather and their health. Time to hv fun guys!!!
